Humble Background

MC MARY KOM , born as Mangte Chungneijang Mary Kom  , on 24 November 1982 in a small village called Kangathei in Manipur, India. It is unimaginable to think that someone from a remote area and that too being a woman can come out of so many hurdles and win so many medals a a game which is known for its intensity.

MY ENCOUNTER

It was 2010 when I first came to know that there was someone who won 5th world Amateur Boxing Championship title . The fact that she is a mother who is getting her opponents knocked out by her powerful punches , I felt awestruck : How can someone be so powerful to even manage the boxing ring and playing joyfully to her own kids at the same time . It was completely unthinkable for me . Now she owns 6 such titles !!!!!

Back then I was struck in my own life too . I was struggling with my career but Magnificent Mary showed me the way to overcome all those hurdles shine in the dark.
